Welcome to the new St. Edwards Sub-Aqua Club Web Site.
St. Edwards SAC was formed in 1989, and affiliated to the BSAC early in 1990. The club was formed to provide Scuba training to the pupils of St. Edwards School, and at the same time to provide a club for the local community. The club tries to keep a small membership of between 25 to 35, however there is almost always space for new members.

The club purchased its own boat in 1981, and in 2006 upgraded the engine to a new 100HP four stroke. She is an Osprey Eagle Rib (Rigid Inflatable Boat) and is used for all types of Diving, including Reef, Wreck, Drift & night diving. The club has run many holidays at various locations throughout the U.K. and Overseas as well as Diving at weekends.
We have during the last twenty six years built up an experienced membership with Nationally Qualified Instructors. We aim to continue to provide the best quality training and to expand on the BSAC training courses run within the club, and to continue having Fun, Diving Safely.
